🧰 Not Just a Job, but a Life Lesson 💖
My First Job 🧰
The word “first” holds a very special place in life. One such unforgettable “first” for me is my first job. After about a year of completing my Advanced Level examinations, I began working as a cashier at US Fashion.
A job opens the door to a whole new world in anyone’s life, and this institution was where I took my very first step into that world. The day I joined US Fashion is still as clear in my memory as if it were today. A new environment, new faces, new rules, and many new responsibilities were placed upon me. Sitting behind the cashier counter and facing customers was a completely new experience for me.
Working with money and computerized systems initially filled my mind with fear. However, as days turned into weeks and weeks into months, it gradually became a normal part of my life. My enthusiasm, honesty, humility, and dedication earned me the love and respect of the owners and the staff of the institution, which brought great happiness to my heart.
I treated customers with friendliness, and even today I remember how warmly they spoke to me with smiling faces. Through this workplace, I gained many wonderful friends. The salary I received felt like a mountain of wealth to me at that time.
This was not merely a job—it was a school that taught me invaluable life lessons. After working at US Fashion for about a year, I bid farewell to the institution to pursue my university education. I still remember how everyone hugged me and cried on my last day. Though it was painful to say goodbye, I continue to hold deep love and gratitude for my first job and for that institution, even to this day.
A different experience.
